India, May 16 -- Chief of Army Staff Upendra Dwivedi on Saturday delivered a strong warning to Pakistan, saying the country would have to decide whether it wanted to remain "part of geography or history" if it continued to shelter terrorists and support anti-India activities.

General Dwivedi made the remarks during an interactive session titled "Sena Samwad", organised by Uniform Unveiled at the Manekshaw Centre.

Responding to a question on how the Indian Army would react if circumstances similar to those that led to Operation Sindoor were to arise again, he repeated India's longstanding position on cross-border terrorism.
