New Delhi/IBNS, March 27 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday virtually joined the Surya Tilak ceremony at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple and offered prayers to Lord Rama.
Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister extended greetings to the nation on Ram Navami.
Ram Navami is a major Hindu festival that marks the birth of Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of Vishnu.
It is observed on the ninth day (Navami) of the Chaitra month in the Hindu calendar, typically falling in March or April, and holds deep religious significance for followers of Hinduism.
