Kolkata/IBNS, Sept. 12 -- Cricket icon and Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president Sourav Ganguly has responded to allegations of irregularities in the World Cup ticket distribution system and players' age-verification process, asserting that the association has strictly followed the rules laid down by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The controversy erupted after veteran Bengali journalist Suman Chattopadhyay, in an episode of his YouTube show, published an investigative report alleging irregularities in the World Cup ticket distribution system.
