'Dharmendra Pradhan will be responsible if anything happens': CJP warns as Sonam Wangchuk's health worsens on day 3 of hunger strike
New Delhi/IBNS, June 30 -- Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk's blood sugar level dropped to 66 mg/dL as his indefinite hunger strike entered its third day on Tuesday, prompting members of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) to warn the Centre over his deteriorating health.
Wangchuk has been on a hunger strike at Jantar Mantar since Sunday, where CJP members have been camping since June 20, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in competitive examinations.
The group, which began as an online movement before taking its protest to the streets, said the Education Minister would be held responsible if Wangchuk's health deteriorates further.
