India, May 12 -- US President Donald Trump posted a series of AI-generated images showing fictional American military strikes against Iran, as uncertainty deepened over the fragile ceasefire in the region.

The images, shared on Trump's Truth Social account, depicted dramatic combat scenes involving US forces attacking Iranian targets.

One image showed a US warship firing what appeared to be a laser weapon at an aircraft marked with the Iranian flag. The plane was shown exploding mid-air. Trump captioned the image: "Lasers: Bing, Bing, GONE!!!"

Another digitally created image portrayed a US drone flying over a group of Iranian fast boats moments before multiple explosions destroyed the vessels.
