New Delhi/IBNS, July 20 -- Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) spokesperson Saurav Das on Monday claimed that the group's founder, Abhijeet Dipke, had been detained by Delhi Police as crowds swelled during the "Chalo Sansad" march, which disrupted normal life in parts of the national capital.

In a post on X, Das alleged that police had launched a crackdown on the protesters.

Several parliamentarians including Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav have also been reportedly detained.

Delhi Police and paramilitary personnel on Monday resorted to a lathicharge to disperse protesters gathered for the CJP's "Chalo Sansad" march as the anti-government agitation over the alleged NEET paper leak and other education-related issues intensified.
