India, Aug. 18 -- Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju over his claim that no student suffered serious injuries during the student protests in Delhi last month.

Sharing a video of Rijiju's remarks on X, Gandhi alleged that police used excessive force against students protesting the Centre and demanding the resignation of then Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
