YOGa Bags Rs.20 Cr From Info Edge, Others To Scale Clean-Air Solutions
India, Aug. 31 -- Clean tech startup YOGa Clean Air has raised Rs.20 Cr (around $2.1 Mn) in its Series A round, in a mix of primary and secondary deals, led by Info Edge Ventures.
The round, which marked the startup's first external funding, also saw participation from Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal and Three Words Capital. While Rs.10 Cr was raised via primary capital, the remaining Rs.10 Cr came from secondary transactions.
The startup plans to deploy the fresh capital to deepen its presence in existing markets and expand its footprint to new Tier I and tier II cities. YOGa Clean Air also said that a chunk of the capital will also be utilised to deploy its clean air solutions on public transport and at other outdoor spaces.
