TCS HyperVault To Invest Rs.70,000 Cr To Set Up AI Data Centre in Hyderabad
India, Sept. 5 -- Tata Consultancy Services' (TCS) data centre subsidiary, HyperVault, and its partners will invest up to Rs.70,000 Cr to build and operate a large-scale AI data centre campus in Hyderabad with a capacity of up to 1 GW capacity.
In a filing with the exchanges, TCS said that it has secured 264 acres of land in Hyderabad to develop the facility. Once completed, the campus aims to offer high-density, liquid-cooled compute workloads for frontier AI companies and hyperscalers.
The project will be executed in phases according to the market demand. Once fully developed, the campus will likely rank among India's largest AI infrastructure sites, incorporating green energy and water-neutral design principles.
