India, July 29 -- Deeptech company SEDEMAC Mechatronics' net profit zoomed 95.1% to Rs.33.3 Cr in the first quarter (Q1) of the fiscal year 2026-27 (FY27) compared to Rs.17.1 Cr in the year-ago quarter. On a sequential basis, profit rose a mere 3.8% from Rs.32.1 Cr.

This profit surge came on the back of operating revenue zooming 42.5% to Rs.309.8 Cr in the quarter under review as against Rs.217.4 Cr in Q1 FY26. On a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, the top line rose 7.7% from Rs.287.7 Cr in the preceding quarter.

Including other income of Rs.86 Lakh, the company's total income for the quarter stood at Rs.310.6 Cr. Meanwhile, total expenses jumped 41.9% YoY and 9.3% QoQ to Rs.269.3 Cr in Q1 FY27.
