India, July 30 -- Amid the string of announcements made during its Epoch 2026 conference, AI unicorn Sarvam unveiled a new AI coding agent for engineering teams - Sarvam Code.

Pitched as an agent that builds sustainable code for the long run, Sarvam Code breaks down the coding workflow into three specialised agents - a planner, a worker and a verifier.

Cofounder Pratyush Kumar said the architecture addresses one of the biggest weaknesses of open-source models - reliably determining when a coding task is complete.
