India, May 21 -- Early-stage venture capital (VC) firm Sadev Ventures has appointed ex-Snabbit executive Ishan Kansal as its cofounder and managing partner. Kansal will join the firm in early June 2026 and will be stationed in Bengaluru to establish Sadev's second office in India.

The IIT Indore alumnus previously served as product head at quick services startup Snabbit, where he led product, data, and design. Prior to that, he spent nearly six years as a core early team member at CRED, scaling key product and business verticals in payments, insurance and lending.

Earlier in his career, he also had stints at Paytm and Deutsche Bank across India and APAC markets.
