India, Sept. 16 -- VC firm Peak XV Partners has sold 9.17 Cr shares of fintech major Groww in a bulk deal today.

As per NSE data, the firm, via its holding entity Peak XV Partners Investments VI-1, sold the shares at a price of Rs.191.49 apiece, 1% higher than Groww's closing price today. The investor raked in Rs.1,756.2 Cr via the transaction, with the shares sold amounting to around almost 1.5% of the company's equity.

The identities of the buyers couldn't be immediately ascertained.

Peak XV is Groww's largest institutional shareholder, with the firm owning around 98.4 Cr shares in Groww, equivalent to 15.7% stake, as of June 30, 2026. Hence, the investor has offloaded only about 9% of its shareholding in the company.
