India, Aug. 4 -- Beauty and personal care (BPC) major Nykaa reported an over 3X jump in its consolidated net profit for Q1 FY27 to Rs.79.8 Cr from Rs.24.8 Cr in the year-ago quarter. Sequentially, profit remained almost flat compared to Rs.78.8 Cr.

Operating revenue jumped 29% YoY and 5% QoQ to Rs.2,782 Cr. Including other income of Rs.9.3 Cr, total income for the period stood at Rs.2,791.3 Cr. Meanwhile, total expenses increased 26% YoY to Rs.2,662.2 Cr.

Alongside its financials, Nykaa's board also approved the acquisition of a 51% stake in D2C skincare brand Aminu Wellness for Rs.32 Cr. Founded in 2019 by Prachi Bhandari, Aminu manufactures cosmetics in house and reported a revenue of Rs.19.4 Cr in FY26.
