India, April 28 -- SaaS startup Mojro has raised an additional $2.5 Mn (about Rs.23 Cr) as part of its Series A funding round, taking the total size of the round to $5.5 Mn. The fresh capital was invested by Dallas Venture Capital (DVC).

The startup intends to use the capital to double down on its plans of global expansion and fuel product innovation.

Mojro cofounder and CEO Kishan Aswath said, "We will continue to invest in such expansion in the foreign markets to build more resilient supply chains."

Prior to this, the Bengaluru-based startup had raised $3 Mn in February, led by IAN Group's IAN Alpha Fund, with participation from 1Crowd and existing investors.
