India, Aug. 11 -- Listed matchmaking platform Matrimony's consolidated net profit for Q1 FY27 skyrocketed 2.2X YoY to Rs.19.1 Cr from Rs.8.4 Cr in the year-ago quarter. On a sequential basis, profit surged 96% from Rs.9.7 Cr in Q4 FY26.

Operating revenue rose 13% YoY and 12% QoQ to Rs.130.5 Cr in the quarter under review. In this, revenue from the matchmaking business grew 14% YoY to Rs.129.5 Cr.

With the addition of 2.72 Lakh new paid subscribers in the quarter, the company's matchmaking business' billing for the quarter increased 8% YoY to Rs.135.3 Cr.
