India, Aug. 22 -- India's startup funding activity picked up pace in the third week of August, with nineteen startups raising a combined $233.2 Mn. Between August 17 and 21, startups raised 67% more capital than the $139.5 Mn raised by 12 startups during the previous week.

This week's funding activity was fuelled by global VC firm Prosus' $100 Mn (over Rs.955 Cr) investment in IPO-bound fintech major Navi, which accounted for a significant share of the total capital raised during the week.
