India, July 7 -- D2C footwear and accessories brand Fizzy Goblet has onboarded Kareena Kapoor Khan as a strategic investor, almost four years after it appointed the actor as the brand ambassador in April 2022.

The financial details of the investment were not disclosed.

The startup said the move comes as it expands its offline and online presence across India while accelerating its international growth plans.

Kapoor will now take on a broader role beyond marketing. She will participate in the brand's design selection process and help drive awareness for Fizzy Goblet in India and international markets.
