India, Oct. 27 -- Healthtech startup Cent, launched by Practo cofounder Shashank ND earlier this year, announced the raise of $15 Mn (about Rs.143 Cr) in a Series A round led by Blume Ventures and existing investor South Park Commons (SPC), with participation from individual investors including former Vodafone CEO Arun Sarin and former OpenAI B2B CTO Srinivas Narayanan, among others.

The fresh capital will be deployed to strengthen the preventive healthcare startup's R&D function. Besides, the startup also intends to expand its AI, engineering and clinical teams.
