India, Aug. 26 -- Consumer electronics startup boAt's profit after tax (PAT) increased 38% to Rs.84.5 Cr in the financial year ended March 2026 (FY26) from Rs.61.1 Cr in the previous fiscal year.

The profit growth came despite the startup's operating revenue declining nearly 5% to Rs.2,931 Cr from Rs.3,073.3 Cr in FY25.

Its profit before tax (PBT) rose 53% to Rs.114.3 Cr during the year under review from Rs.74.7 Cr in FY25, boAt said in a statement.

The startup attributed the improvement in its bottom line to measures across product quality, sourcing, channel management, and cost efficiency.

Its finance costs declined about 72% to Rs.7.9 Cr in FY26 from Rs.27.9 Cr in the previous fiscal year. boAt repaid about Rs.60 Cr of short-term b...
