India, July 21 -- Electric two-wheeler maker Ather Energy has raised about Rs.1,300 Cr through a qualified institutional placement (QIP), allotting 1.08 Cr equity shares to investors at an issue price of Rs.1,202 per share.

The issue price was about 2.8% higher than the Rs.1,169.70 apiece floor price set by the company.

The QIP opened on July 15 and closed yesterday, the company said in an exchange filing.

Among the largest allottees were HDFC Mutual Fund, Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, Axis Mutual Fund, Edelweiss Mutual Fund, Tata Mutual Fund, Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund, and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, each receiving more than 5% of the total issue size.
