India, Feb. 26 -- AI-native preconstruction startup MeltPlan has secured $10 Mn (about Rs.90.9 Cr) in a seed funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from European early-stage tech investment firm noa.

Founded in 2025 by ex-Innovacer CPO Kanav Hasija and ex- DPR Construction executive Tanmaya Kala, MeltPlan designs AI agents that understand building codes, materials, sequencing, procurement, and construction methods.

It plans to use the fresh capital to further develop its "planning engine", which is the AI system designed to optimise decisions before construction begins. Further, some of the capital will also help fuel it develop software across code, cost, schedule and value decision systems.
