5.1 Lakh Complaints Filed Against Ecommerce Platforms In 2025: Govt
India, Aug. 13 -- More than 5.1 Lakh complaints were registered against ecommerce and quick commerce platforms on the National Consumer Helpline in 2025, the government informed the Parliament. This is a near 14% jump from 4.4 Lakh complaints registered against online marketplaces in 2024.
In a written reply before the Lok Sabha, minister of state (MoS) for consumer affairs, BL Verma, said that the majority of the complaints (1.3 Lakhs) were registered against Flipkart, followed by Amazon (91,248) and Meesho (29,284).
Consumers also filed 25,384 complaints against fashion ecommerce giant Myntra and 19,895 against Reliance-owned Netmeds. Quick commerce platforms Zepto and Blinkit also saw 5,774 and 5,102 complaints registered against the...
