C2i Semiconductors raised fresh capital from existing backer TDK Ventures in an extension of its Series A round, taking the total round size to $16.7 Mn (about Rs.160.5 Cr).

In February, C2i had raised $15 Mn (around Rs.136 Cr) in its Series A funding round led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from TDK Ventures and Yali Capital.

Separately, the semiconductor startup today announced the tape-out of its smart power stage chip for AI infrastructure. The chip was designed end-to-end in India by the startup's semiconductor engineering team and marks a key milestone in developing complex silicon products for AI computing workloads.
