Aquaculture-focused agritech startup Aquapulse has raised an additional Rs.20 Cr ($2.1 Mn) from IAN Alpha Fund to close its Series A round at Rs.45 Cr (about $4.7 Mn).

This comes months after the Odisha-based startup raised Rs.25 Cr (around $2.7 Mn) in an ongoing Series A round led by NABVENTURES through its AgriSURE Fund.

The startup plans to use the fresh capital to improve its technology and disease management systems and expand its farmer procurement network in eastern India. A portion of the capital will also go towards scaling processing and export operations and strengthening working capital to support its global business.
