Dhanbad, May 13 -- Giridih district police on Tuesday launched a dedicated "Mahila Shakti Patrolling" initiative, under which women police personnel will patrol the city on scooters, focusing on areas with high movement of women and students, including schools, colleges, coaching centres etc., people aware of the development said on Tuesday. Under the initiative a troupe of 10 women police personnel on five scooters were flagged off by SP Bimal Kumar from Mahila Thana premises.
