DARBHANGA, July 8 -- A widely circulated on social media video showing a youth posing with a firearm led to the arrest of three persons, detention of a juvenile and recovery of an illegal country-made pistol, ammunition and a motorcycle in Darbhanga district, police said on Tuesday. The action was initiated after a video surfaced on social media on June 7. During verification, the youth was identified as Nitish Kumar Mukhiya (19) of Jayantipur Dath under Bahera police station limits. Those arrested are Nitish, Sonu Kumar Sahni (20) and Vijay Kumar Sahni (23). A juvenile was also detained. Investigators said examination of their mobile phones revealed the accused were friends and had photographs of themselves posing with firearms. Further investigation is underway....
