PATNA, July 29 -- Former minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad's elder son Tej Pratap Yadav was released from the Beur jail late on Tuesday. He was arrested and booked in a case related to the students' protests in Patna on July 25 during the Bihar bandh call given by the All India Student Association (AISA) and other left organisations. Yadav, who is founder of Janshakti Janata Dal( JJD), walked out of jail a day after state government announced to withdraw all 64 FIRs related to student protests after spending almost three days in incarceration. On Monday, the court of Sub-divisional judical magistrtate (SDJM), Patna R K Upadhyay, had reserved his order on the bail petition of Tej Pratap.
