RINPAS rendering valuable services, says J'khand min
Ranchi, June 18 -- Jharkhand health minister Irfan Ansari on Wednesday inaugurated "Project Manas - Brainsway Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (DTMS) Centre" at Ranchi Institute of Neuro-Psychiatry and Allied Sciences (RINPAS), Kanke.
"Mental health is a crucial aspect of public health today, and the availability of such state-of-the-art technologies will ensure better and high-quality treatment for patients in the state. Efforts being made by RINPAS to expand mental health services are commendable," said Ansari while inaugurating the centre.
RINPAS Director Dr. Jayati Simlai informed the audience about the importance of centre for mental health care. "DTMS is a safe, effective, and non-invasive treatment technique used for conditions such as depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), addiction recovery, and other mental and neurological disorders. Establishing this centre will make state-of-the-art mental health services locally available to patients from Jharkhand and the rest of Eastern India," she said.
This project has been funded by Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme for community welfare and development....
