MUNGER, Aug. 22 -- Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday asserted that the INDIA bloc will not allow the BJP to "snatch" voting rights of people of Bihar in collusion with the Election Commission as he joined the second leg of the 'Voter Adhikar Yatra' in Lakhisarai. Gandhi said "vote chori" (vote theft) is an attack on the Constitution. Gandhi was accompanied by RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, CPI(ML) general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya, Congress' Bihar unit president Rajesh Ram and Vikassheel Insaan Party chief Mukesh Sahni. "The BJP is indulging in 'vote chori' through the EC by starting the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar. The INDIA bloc will not allow the BJP to steal the voting rights of people," the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha said.Gandhi also claimed that the results of the last Lok Sabha polls were manipulated by the saffron party. "The Prime Minister is also a "vote 'chor", and the BJP is trying to snatch people's voting rights to benefit a section of industrialists," the former Congress president alleged. JD(U) reaction JD (U) national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad launched a scathing attack on the Vote Adhikar Yatra and slammed Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav. He said that the two leaders are engaged in misleading the people and should apologise to the public. Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, he said that they repeatedly resort to lies to mislead the public. "Recently, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, citing the data of CSDS, attacked a constitutional institution like the Election Commission by saying that '30-40%' of voters are missing. On this basis, they have staged the drama of the so-called 'Voter Rights Yatra'. But now the truth is out. Police have registered an FIR against CSDS analyst Sanjay Kumar for giving wrong information and election-related violations. Sanjay Kumar himself has accepted his mistake by deleting his tweet and he also apologised," said the JD (U) spokesperson....
