PATNA, Sept. 26 -- As the Bihar BJP core committees from 52 organisational districts met for the second consecutive day to review preparations for the upcoming elections and discuss the probable names of candidates, BJP national president JP Nadda on Thursday appointed Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan as election in-charge for Bihar, which will go to polls soon. He will be assisted by Union minister CR Patil and former deputy chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya. The district core committee meeting which ended on Thursday, took feedback from all participating districts on 16 questionnaires ranging from preparations, voters at booth levels, probable candidates, election strategy for respective areas, etc. "The party state leadership also took feedback on probable candidates, their image, strengths and also asked about the sitting candidates' work on promises made in 2020," said a district core committee member, who attended the meeting. BJP leaders said each district was assigned 25-30 minutes for their presentation. "We were also asked to make house to house contact and visit panchayats as well," said a BJP leader. "The names of probable candidates and feedback would be placed before the central election committee which will take a final call. The meeting extensively discussed election strategy. The BJP will move forward in the elections by consulting with all," said BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal. Jaiswal said the BJP was an organisational party. "The BJP has 52 organisational districts. The meeting conducted a political review and examined the region-wise situation. Additionally, a meeting was held to formulate the election strategy. The BJP is a party of workers, and discussions are being held with the core committee to ensure transparency in all matters," he said....
