PATNA, Sept. 7 -- NTPC will host the Patna regional round of its flagship Electron Quiz 2026-27 at the Urja auditorium on September 8, according to its press release on Sunday. The Electron Quiz, titled "The World of Business Management," will bring together bright and enthusiastic students from reputed engineering and management institutions, including the IITs and IIMs, said Vishwanath Chandan, deputy general manager of corporate communication for the NTPC eastern region Two-member teams from reputed engineering and management institutions across Bihar will compete on this year's theme, "The World of Business Management," Chandan said. The contest tests participants' knowledge, analytical skills and competitive spirit. Patna is one of nine regional venues nationwide, alongside Ranchi, Lucknow, Raipur, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Noida. The Patna round's winning team will take home Rs.60,000, the runner-up Rs.40,000, and the third-placed team Rs.20,000. Teams ranked fourth to sixth will receive Rs.8,000 each, he added.
