SASARAM, May 23 -- A Patna vigilance team arrested Akash Kumar Rauniyar, the Circle Officer (CO) of Sasaram, red-handed at his residence while he was accepting a bribe of Rs.3 lakh in connection with a land mutation case, on Friday. An intermediary acting on behalf of the CO was also arrested. The most intriguing aspect of this case is that the very individual who filed the complaint against the officer with the Vigilance Department and subsequently helped secure his red-handed arrest, is his own subordinate revenue employee....
