Officers of Myanmar army visit Bihar's Danapur cantonment
DANAPUR, Oct. 8 -- The Indian Army welcomed an officers' delegation of the Myanmar Army to the Bihar Regiment Centre (BRC) at Danapur on Wednesday. The delegation is part of a professional training visit aimed at interaction and exchange of perspectives on military training methodologies, practices and experiences.
During the visit, both sides exchanged views on modern military training, emerging defence technologies, operational best practices, and building future-ready armed forces. The delegation also visited the Army Maurya Museum, where they learned about the rich history, operational achievements, and evolution of the Bihar Regiment. As part of the visit, the delegation interacted with the Bihar Governor Syed Ata Hasnain at Lok Bhavan. The interaction provided an opportunity to exchange views and further strengthen the longstanding bonds of friendship and goodwill between India and Myanmar.
At Danapur, the delegation interacted with General officer commanding (GOC) of Jharkhand and Bihar sub-area, Major General Jitender Singh and BRC Commandant Brig Rakesh Kumar Bora at the Training Area. The interaction provided an opportunity for professional exchange on contemporary aspects of military training, leadership and soldier development, while reinforcing the close professional bonds and mutual understanding between the two armies.
In BRC premises, the delegation was briefed on various facets of recruit training, including training philosophy, methodology, instructional practices, physical conditioning, discipline, and the progressive transformation of recruits into soldiers....
