PATNA/DARBHANGA, Aug. 19 -- Janata Dal (United) president and former Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is likely to undertake a district-level outreach programme across Bihar after the Durga Puja festivities in October, according to party's national working president Sanjay Kumar Jha. On Tuesday, Jha said there were plans being prepared for district wise tour of JD(U) national president and it would be firmed up soon. "Former CM Nitish ji is keen to visit the districts to review organisational setup of the party. We are preparing plans for his tour from October," Jha said. On Tuesday, the former CM, who is also a Rajya Sabha MP, visited the JD(U) national working president's residence in Patna and interacted with workers while issuing directives on party-related matters. On Monday, Jha, during an interaction with reporters, had cited Kumar's recent participation in the ongoing Parliament session as an indication of his continued engagement with political affairs. "He is fully active in politics. You have just seen that he participated in the session of Parliament. His eyes are on everything," Jha told a small gathering of party workers at a non political event. Jha said Kumar would begin visiting districts after the festive season in October, but the programme would not involve public rallies or mass meetings. "These will not be public meetings. He will meet party workers and hold discussions with our other colleagues," Jha said. There are also speculations that Nitish's son, health minister Nishant Kumar may start a district-wise yatra from October to review departmental works and interact with party workers....
