GAYA JI, Aug. 8 -- Gaya police on Friday arrested nine Kolkata-based cyber fraudsters from a flat in Motimani Apartments in the Rampur police station area of Gaya town. Acting on a tip-off about the racket, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sushil Kumar formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) under City SP Abhinav Kumar, which immediately raided the apartment on the fourth floor. Nine people were found sitting on the floor, busy on calls using electronics - laptops and mobile phones. Seeing the police force, everyone panicked and started shutting down their laptops and mobile phones, police said. Identified as Naved Anwar, Afzal Hussain, Mohd Inzamam Alam, Mohd Salman, Adnan Ahmed, Jemal Hussain, Sadashiv Bhan, Mohd Shahid and Osama Parvez, all residents of different police stations in Kolkata, West Bengal.
