BETTIAH, June 18 -- Hours after the arrival of the post-mortem report of Prince Yadav, brother of Gyan Bindu Academy director Roshan Anand and an accused in the June 2 shoot out outside Khan Global Studies in Patna's Mussallahpur area, Nepal Police on Tuesday widened the scope of the investigation by sending the deceased's viscera for forensic laboratory examination to ascertain the exact cause of death and rule out any possibility of poisoning or foul play. Speaking to Hindustan Times over the phone from Biratnagar in Nepal, Santosh Shreshth, DSP, district police, Morang said, "The postmortem report of Yadav is silent on the cause of his death. Therefore, sample of his viscera was sent to Dharan for laboratory examination. We are confident we will be able to reach a conclusion about the death once it arrives." Dharan is a sub-metropolitan city in Sunsari district of Koshi province, eastern Nepal. Prince Yadav was found dead in mysterious circumstances at a hotel located in Biratnagar in Morang district of Nepal, on June 13. His death has added a fresh dimension to the ongoing investigation into the June 2 firing incident and the alleged rivalry between coaching institute owners Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, and Roshan Anand. Nepal police said Prince, along with his four associates, came to Biratnagar on June 3 and stayed at the Metro City hotel, located in front of Bypass in the wake of a dispute between Gyan Bindu Academy and Khan Sir's institute. Two days later, they shifted to room number 102 of Shubh Hotel before he died on June 13. "All four companions of Prince are detained and remain in our custody. The investigation into the death is continuing," the DSP said, replying to a query if his companions had been forwarded to jail.
