PATNA, April 13 -- A NEET aspirant was run over by a train near Ramnagar Diara village under Athmagola police station on Sunday morning, police said. The deceased was identified as 18-year-old Raunak Rana, son of Naveen Kumar Singh. The family members of the victim said he was mentally disturbed due to the delay in the NEET exam results. Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) Bakhtiyarpur officers arrived at the scene with police personnel. The GRP took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem examination. Railway police said the incident took place around 7pm after a memo was received from Bakhtiyarpur station. The incident came to light after locals saw the body. GRP said that they found the body of Raunak on the up line between Bakhtiyarpur Link and Bakhtiyarpur station. Before the incident, train number 63221 had passed through the up line at 6.16 am....
