MoU signed for continuation of BIT Patna till '30
PATNA, May 22 -- Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra and department of science, technology & technical education (DSTTE), government of Bihar, on Thursday renewed the MoU for continuation of BIT Patna off-campus till December 16, 2030. The MoU was signed by Himanshu Sharma, IAS, secretary, DSTTE, Bihar government and Prof Indranil Manna, VC, BIT Mesra.
The renewed MoU reinforces long-standing collaboration between BIT Mesra and the state towards strengthening technical education. It ensures continuity of BIT Patna as an off-campus of BIT Mesra and supports continued access to institutionally strong technical education opportunities in Bihar. It also retains provisions related to reservation for Bihar students while supporting academic growth, infrastructure development, and institutional cooperation for higher technical education.
