BETTIAH, June 13 -- Recognising the onerous task of cooking and the burden it places on police personnel, often posing challenges to the discharge of their duties, the East Champaran police headquarters on Thursday formally approved the establishment of mess facilities in police stations across the district as a part of a novel initiative aimed at improving the welfare and efficiency of its force.
