Dehradun, Oct. 27 -- A 27-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his friend to death late on Saturday night after an argument near a liquor store in Muni Ki Reti area of Rishikesh in Tehri Garhwal district, police said on Sunday. Police identified the accused as Akshay Thakur and the deceased as 28-year-old Ajendra Kandari. The two allegedly consumed alcohol together before a heated argument broke out between them and Akshay stabbed Ajendra with a knife multiple times in a fit of rage. SSP Tehri Garhwal Ayush Agarwal said, "We have registered the FIR and arrested the accused. The post-mortem has been completed."...
