RANCHI, April 25 -- The brutal murder of a 55-year-old night security guard, Birsa Munda, at the historic Jagannathpur temple has sparked outrage across the city. Munda, who served the temple for over a decade, was found dead early morning inside the temple premises on Friday. The crime was discovered at dawn by the temple priest. According to Thakur Sudhanshu Nath Shahdeo, the temple's Pratham Sevak: "Temple priest Sriram Mohanty and his helper Dilip Ekka noticed Munda lying in a pool of blood when they reached the temple to perform puja in the morning.
