PATNA, Aug. 26 -- The Bihar government has constituted a five-member expert committee to overhaul state's examination system and eliminate malpractices, including question paper leaks, officials said on Tuesday. The panel will be headed by a retired or serving judge of Patna high court, for which the HC will be formally requested. It is deemed to submit its recommendations within three months. The committee's core mandate is to strengthen reliability, integrity and transparency across the entire examination cycle-from registration and question paper preparation to evaluation, result declaration and grievance redressal. It will specifically target paper leaks, dummy candidates, mass cheating, centre irregularities, answer-script tampering, unauthorised data access and result manipulation.
