PATNA, Aug. 24 -- Two armed criminals allegedly chased a minor girl and shot her in front of the Arya Samaj temple near RPS More under Danapur police station on Sunday evening. The bullet hit the girl's right shoulder where she was admitted to a private hospital for treatment. Police said that the incident occurred around 4.30 pm. Two criminals chased the girl and she entered a tailor's shop. She hid behind the tailor, saying, "Uncle, please save me." The two armed miscreants chasing her reached the shop and told the tailor to send her out, threatening him. Meanwhile, one of the miscreants started pulling the girl outside. As the girl fell to the ground, the second miscreant opened fire on her, hitting her in the shoulder. After shooting her, both miscreants fled while brandishing their pistol. The bullet struck the girl's right shoulder, said a police officer. Upon receiving information about the incident, station house officer (SHO) Prashant Kumar Bhardwaj arrived with a police force and began investigating. The police are examining the CCTV footage near the crime scene, which revealed two miscreants.
