PATNA, March 2 -- In a shocking incident, four members of a family died during the cleaning of a tank at Anwarpur village under Sarai police station in Hajipur, Vaishali district, on Sunday. Police said that one man was cleaning the toilet tank where he fell in, and in an attempt to rescue him, the other family members climbed down one by one. All of them died of suffocation due to the toxic gas in the tank. Three others remain in critical condition, said an administrative officer. The deceased were identified as 46-year-old Anand Kumar and his 18-year-old son, Priyanshu Kumar, along with Anand's brothers, Pankaj Kumar and Rahul Kumar. Rahul Kumar was married only on February 24. The incident has sent shockwaves through the family and the village. "There are four members of the same family. While cleaning the tank, one man went down and fainted. Others went to rescue him. All of them fainted and later all four died. All of them are members of the same family," said a relative. The police said that four people died, while three were hospitalised. The bodies were sent to Hajipur hospital for postmortem....
