Four girls rescued from madrasa teacher in East Champaran
BETTIAH, June 7 -- Police rescued four girls, aged between 11 and 16, all residents of the same village, from Chainpur Dhaka village under Dhaka police station area of East Champaran district after they were allegedly abducted by a 25-year-old madrasa teacher, police said on Saturday.
According to police, the accused allegedly kidnapped the girls after luring one of them, a 16-year-old student at his madrasa, into a "love trap." Shikarganj SHO Gopal Kumar said that the accused was arrested late Friday and the girls have been reunited with their families.

Police said the girls went missing on Wednesday after which a case was registered at Shikarganj police station following a complaint filed by one girl's father who named the accused person, alleging that the latter persuaded his daughter to bring her friends to his house.
"My daughter came in contact with the accused at the local madarsa. He had been driven out of the village by residents after I found inappropriate messages sent by him on my daughter's mobile phone. However, he remained in contact with my daughter," the girl's father said.
Police have charged the accused under BNS sections including 137(2) (kidnapping), 96 (procuration of a child) and 143(1) (trafficking in persons), sections 5 and 6 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, and sections 8 and 12 of the Pocso Act. He has been sent to jail....
