Fed up with mother's illicit affair, man kills her lover in Kaimur
BHABUA, March 23 -- Fed up with his mother's blatant illicit affair, a young man in Kaimur shot dead her middle-aged lover, police revealed on Sunday.
Superintendent of police (SP) Kaimur, Hari Mohan Shukla said that Vishnu Kant Mishra (55) was shot dead in front of his wife while he had reached to see off the wife at bus stand in Mahila village under Kurhani police station area of Kaimur district on March 15.
Deceased's elder brother Mrityunjay Kumar Mishra registered a murder case against co-villager Amit Kumar Dubey who was found absconding during police raids. The SP formed a SIT under sub-divisional police officer Mohania Pradeep Kumar to arrest Dubey and investigate the motive behind the sensational day-light crime.
Acting on the basis of technical investigation, the SIT arrested Dubey (20) from his hideout.
During interrogation, he disclosed that the man had been involved in an illicit relation with his mother (45).
He informed that whenever his father would leave for the village temple for morning worship around 3am, the deceased would enter their home and engage in sexual acts with his mother, police said.
The affair was ongoing for approximately seven years and other family members had also witnessed the two together on multiple occasions. The accused further disclosed that his father had complained to the deceased's elder brother and family about this matter several times, but no action was ever taken.
Driven to desperation by the unbearable situation, he shot and killed Vishnu Kant Mishra with a pistol in front of his wife and the villagers and fled away. The pistol used in the crime was hidden under a tree near the Sotwan Bridge that had been recovered on his identification, police said....
