PATNA, July 10 -- A local court of Lakhisarai granted a 72-hour remand of 30 accused involved in Re-National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)-UG cheating racket, to the Economic Offences Unit. Confirming the development, a senior official of the EOU said, "The agency is now working to uncover more details about the cheating racket and the mastermind. The EOU took them from Lakhisarai Divisional Jail on 72-hour remand and brought in Patna for interrogation." Official added that their interrogations can reveal many important links of the entire network of frauds. The accused will be questioned separately in Patna and their statements will be recorded. There will also be face-to-face questioning if needed, official said.
