PATNA, Aug. 6 -- The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) arrested Roshan Kumar, a technical assistant working at the Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC), Mumbai, in connection with paper leak in the assistant education development officer (AEDO) recruitment exam conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). Sources said that Roshan Kumar, a resident of Kakriya village under Nursarai police station area of Nalanda district, Bihar, was taken into custody from Mumbai. The AEDO examination was held in April 2026, he added. After a complaint of rigging came to light, the case was handed over to the EOU. A three-member team led by the ASP arrested Roshan from BARC campus and after completing legal proceedings, the accused, Roshan, has been brought to Patna on transit remand. During an investigation conducted by EOU, it was found that Roshan was present at P L Sahu high school examination centre in Sohsarai Nalanda on April 17, 2026. The AEDO recruitment examination was held for 935 posts conducted by the BPSC in 746 centres in three phases in which 1.1 million candidates had applied for the post....
