DARBHANGA, Oct. 9 -- Dozens of Bihar Special Armed Police (BSAP)-13 personnel were hospitalised at Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday evening after they complained of vomiting, nausea, itching and uneasiness following exposure to tear gas during a mock drill at their battalion campus, police said. The personnel were taken to the facility in several ambulances, leading to a temporary surge in the emergency department. According to hospital authorities, most of the affected personnel were discharged after their conditions stabilised, though five remain under observation until Wednesday.
